Do you have an employee group, service organization, or congregation looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth? Here are a few ideas to engage your group.
On-Site Work Days
Bring your group to one (or both) of our Transitional Living Program homes
- Freshen up a room(s) with a fresh coat of paint
- Deep clean TLP home common areas
- Minor home improvement projects and repairs
- Outdoor clean up, landscaping
- Help prepare items for distribution (back to school, winter care bags, holiday bags, etc.)
Off-Site Projects
Help generate awareness about and resources for Project 16:49
- Organize a collection drive (contact us for most needed items)
- Hold a FUNdraiser (optional: invite us to come speak)
- Purchase supplies and assemble kits for youth:
- Hygiene kits
- Winter care kits
- School kits
- Apartment move-in kits
- Help make the holidays merrier with a holiday gift drive, angel tree, special meal, or contact us with other ideas
