What is the Rapid Rehousing Program?
The youth Rapid Rehousing Program is a collaborative effort of Project 16:49 and ECHO, Inc. and is funded through HUD’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program. The program is open to youth ages 18-24 from Rock and Walworth counties.
Rapid Rehousing participants (and their dependents, if any) receive up to 24 months of rent assistance, supportive services, and case management. Participants contribute 30% of their income toward rent, and are responsible for their own utilities.
This program requires enrollment in the Coordinated Entry System, which Project 16:49 staff can facilitate.
